29. OLR - Track Boundaries: A: Track Boundaries are typically, but not always, the solid white lines near track’s edge. Other track boundaries include, but are not limited to; Barriers Walls Fences B: ‘Wall-Riding’ is Strictly Forbidden! GT45 Gaming has a Zero Tolerance Policy on Wall-Riding’. o “Wall-Riding is defined as; The use of a wall, fence or barrier to guide the car through a turn in an effort to gain a time and/or speed advantage. Any driver suspected of ‘Wall-Riding’ will immediately draw an investigated by the Race Stewards and the GT45 Gaming Admin Staff. If any driver is found guilty of ‘Wall-Riding’ will be; o Banned from any race hosted by GT45 Gaming. o Banned from any Race Series hosted by GT45 Gaming. o Banned from the GT45 Gaming Discord server. o Banned from all PSN voice party chats. o Banned from all PSN text party chats. C: Two wheels must be in contact with the track surface. Simply going outside of the track boundaries is not cause for a penalty by itself. There must not be an advantage gained - Time, Distance or Speed. o This restriction may vary based on the track. For more information, please DM a GT45 staff member. D: Track Boundaries in an active battle where two or more drivers are fighting for position, all drivers must leave ‘Adequate Racing Room’ for the other driver(s) in that battle. ‘Adequate Racing Room’ is defined as; o Drivers must leave room for other drivers to have 4 wheels on track and inside the solid white lines. All battles for positions must take place inside the track limits. This allows proper traction to all drivers to have a fair battle for the positions. Painted surfaces do not have adequate grip levels. E: Track Boundaries for Pit Entry & Pit Exit are clearly marked with white lines. The racing surface for Pit Entry & Pit Exit may ONLY be used to enter the pits. o Pitting Drivers have priority in Pit Entry & Pit Exit zones. o Racing Drivers are only allowed to put 2 wheels over the solid white lines marking Pit Entry and Pit Exit. See Section ‘Pit Etiquette’ for more information. o Racing Drivers who willingly put 4 wheels over the solid white lines marking Pit Entry and Pit Exit will receive a penalty. A penalty of 5 seconds for each violation will be added to the finishing time of the offending driver. Repeating offenders may result in Point Deductions. See Section ‘Penalty Guidelines’ for more information.
