26. OLR - Forced Driver Resets: A: Lobbies hosted GT45 Gaming & TT Sim Racing are setup to prevent Car Resets after Leaving The Track, but Gran Turismo 7 will automatically reset cars in certain situations, regardless of the lobby settings. If driver is forcibly reset on track for any reason; The affected driver is required to remained Stopped until is there clear spot on track, before proceeding with his/her race. B: A Forced Driver Reset rules take priority over the ‘No Stopping On Track’ rule 10.A. See Section ‘Racing Etiquette‘ for more information. C: If the affected driver was punted off track: The affected driver is required to wait for a clear spot on track before proceeding with his/her race. If you’re the driver responsible for causing the Forced Reset; o You will receive a time penalty of 3 seconds for each car that passes the victim. Regardless if the offender waits for the victim or not. Stewarding of the incident will be reviewed & assessed. A separate penalty from the Stewards may also be applied. o See Section ‘Contact Concessions‘ for more information. D: A driver who has been Reset, will still bear responsibility for their own safety. Stewards may review and assess a Forced Reset. E: Drivers approaching a driver that has been Forced to Reset still bear responsibility for their own safety.
