TT SIM RACING ORL
3. OLR - Series Qualifying A: Prior to the start of a race series, GT45 Gaming needs to test the pace of all registered drivers to ensure each driver is placed into the correct division. “Sand Bagging” will not be tolerated. All drivers must be putting their 100% effort in to the Qualifying, If we notice any anomalies you may be asked to re-qualify. B: Registration - Drivers need to officially register for a series on Discord & SLP. See Section ‘Series Registration’ for more information. C: Qualifying Schedule – Qualifying for any race will typically be held on the same weekday & time of race series. GT45 Gaming server > (race series name) > schedule If a driver is unable to attend the scheduled qualifying session, please send a DM to a GT45 Gaming Admin Staff member (G.A.S.) to schedule a session. D: Lobby – GT45 Gaming will host a lobby. Lobby will be setup so all factors are equal for all drivers. o The only variable will be the driver’s skills. GT45 Gaming will have at least 2 staff members during Qualifying Sessions o 1 to host & document o 1 to watch the driver’s telemetry data, confirm & verify lap times. If GT45 Gaming is not able to have 2 staff members during a Qualifying Session o The GT45 Gaming staff member will watch the driver’s telemetry data & record the entire session of the driver’s qualify run, for review/ confirmed by a 2nd staff members before the run will be considered ‘Valid’. E: Track – The track used for the Qualifying Session is typically set by the Race Series Organizer. The track mostly likely will not be used in the Race Season. F: Car – There will only be 1 legal car used for the Qualifying Session. This car may or may not be a legal car during the race series G: Drivers – All drivers must qualify, including Reserve Drivers, before they will be allowed to race in any race series. Drivers are not allowed on track, including the Pit Lane, until the Host calls for you. o This is to reduce the possibility of Network Lag. Only 1 driver will be allowed on track at a time, this may include Pit Lane. o Host has full discretion to 2 cars at a time, provided that; The qualifying drivers are half a track length apart from each other. Drivers are not able to catch each other’s slipstream during the session. H: Laps – Drivers will have 4 Hot Laps to set their lap times. The ‘Out-Lap’ does not count. After a driver has completed his/her 4 Hot Laps the driver will stay on track to verify their laps with both GT45 Staff members. In the event of a ‘Timing & Scoring’ glitch, drivers will be asked to: o Verbally verify their Lap Times. o Drivers should take a screenshot of their Lap Times. After all lap times have been verified, the Host will clear the driver to exit the track. I: Qualifying Times – The Host will take the 2 Best Lap Times for every driver. The 2 Best Lap Times will be added together to get a Qualify Time. o Example; Lap 1 = 2:01.155 Lap 2 = 2:00.681 Lap 3 = 1:59.984 Lap 4 = 2:00.843 Qualify Time = 4:00.665 The Qualify Time will be recorded. J: Drivers & Team Drivers – All drivers in the GT45 Gaming Discord server, will be treated as though they are an individuals and Independent drivers regardless of their team affiliation. APEX, ATK, DDR, FFR, FSM, NLR, RAD, RR, TRC, TT, TTV, VPR, VTX The actions of a team driver do not affect the team and vice-versa. K: Exceptions – Drivers with a Driver’s Rating (DR) of ‘A+’ and higher will automatically get placed in the Top Tier Division, regardless of how well they qualify. Drivers with ‘A+’ and higher are still required to Qualify. L: Promotion & Relegation of Drivers - GT45 Gaming reserves the right to move any driver, via Promotion or Relegation, in the event we see a driver has been placed in the wrong division. Example 1: A driver has a Qualifying Time that places him/her in the Pro-Am Division. During the course of the season, GT45 Gaming sees signs this driver has speed and/or skills to be in the Pro Division. o This driver will be ‘Promoted’ up the next division (Pro Division). Example 2: A driver has a Qualifying Time that places him/her in the Pro Division. During the course of the season, GT45 sees signs driver doesn’t seem to have the speed and/or skills to remain in the Pro Division. o This driver will be ‘Relegated’ down to the next division (Pro-Am Division). If a driver has to be moved i nto another division and there is no room for another active driver in the respective new division, the driver will be still be moved and placed at the top of the list of Reserve Drivers for that division. In the event 2 drivers needs to be moved to a division with no vacancy, drivers will be prioritized the points they have earned thus far (highest to lowest).
