24. - OLR - Recovering From An Incident: A: It is the responsibility of the driver recovering from any incident to take all necessary care to not interfere with any car still on the track that is not part of the incident. A relevant incident include, but is not limited to: o Being spun out o Facing the wrong way, o Perpendicular to the track o Going abnormally slow for where you are on the track. o Forced Car/Driver Reset. See Section ‘Forced Car/Driver Resets’ for more information. B: If you are significantly slower than the race pace of your fellow drivers then it’s your responsibility to ensure your track re-entry is done safely to avoid a collision as the collision would be deemed your fault. See Section ‘Track Re-Entry’ for more information. C: Do not reverse back onto the track unless it’s necessary. If you need to back-up; o Be sure there are no oncoming cars. o Use ONLY the smallest space needed to get your car turned around. o Any collision that happens may be deemed your fault. Be Extremely Careful! D: Track Re-entry should be made parallel to the road, slowly and gently, and always with great care. This gives you the best opportunity to see what’s coming up the track behind you. o See Section ‘Track Re-Entry’ for more information.
