OLR - Group Battles: A: When approaching a group of cars in ongoing battle, be careful. • Those cars are engaged in battle & can change driving lines quickly as they try to defend/attack. • The group of cars ahead of you will already be driving close, so finding a good spot for overtaking spot is going to be more difficult. • The same rules apply as when overtaking a single car. o See Section ‘Defensive Driving’ for more information. B: When drivers find themselves in a multi-car battle for position, drivers have to use ALL their racing skills and knowledge available in order to maintain a Safe Track Environment. • Maintain safe braking. • Account for Over-Speed when in a Slipstream. • Do not pushing other drivers into a turn, through corners or off track. • Knowledge of braking zone base on track position (outside vs. middle vs. inside) • Racing-room needs to be allowed (within white lines mark track boundaries) o See Section ‘Track Boundaries’ for more information.
