34. OLR - Penalty Guidelines: A: Race Stewards have full discretion to enforce penalties (as minor or as severe) as they see fit. Races Stewards may issue: Warnings. Penalty Points. Drive-Thru Penalty (Stop & Go) Time Penalty (to be added to a driver’s race finish time). o May affect the Final Race Results. Qualify Ban. o Driver would not be allowed to Qualify for their next race & start at the back of the grid for the next race. Race Ban. o Driver would not be allowed to Race for their next race. Season Ban. o Driver would not be allowed to compete in the remainder of the season. Series Ban. o Driver would not be allowed to compete in the race series again. League Ban. o Driver would not be allowed to compete in League, ever again. B: Stewards reserve the right to use a ‘3 Strikes’ Policy for any violations For example: ‘Livery Violation’. A driver repeatedly fails to comply with the Livery Guidelines o 1st Offense = Warning o 2nd Offense = Points Deduction o 3rd Offense = No Points Earned & Not allowed to race until livery is compliant. C: Minor Level Penalty: Likely caused by a momentary lapse in concentration. A Bump – in a turn Passing through a ghosted car Not moving off the Race Line to serve an In-Game time penalty Violation of the track boundaries A pass attempt without ‘Sufficient Overlap’ but close enough to make the pass feasible Leaning on another car through a turn An unsafe track re-entry without contact with any other car D: Intermediate Level Penalty: Showed a lack of ‘Situational Awareness’. Qualifying Etiquette Violation (a driver messes-up another driver’s ‘Hot Lap’ during a qualifying session) Blocking Leaning on another car through a turn (Upgrade Offense) A Shove – a significant transfer of speed between 2 cars (causing damage to another’s car) An unsafe track re-entry with minor contact with any other car (causing no damage) E: Severe Level Penalty: Demonstrates a lack of Good Racecraft. Punting Bashing Excessive Blocking Weaving Pit Maneuver Swiping at another car/driver Dive-Bomb (an attempt to overtake using Extremely Late Braking for a corner entry from too far back) An unsafe track re-entry with major contact with any other car (causing damage) F: Extreme Level Penalty: Clearly shows a lack of judgment and a disregard for the tenets of Good Racecraft. Bashing (Upgrade Offense) Wall Riding An unsafe track re-entry that involves contact with more than 1 car o Especially if the car you contact comes in contact with another car. G: Black Flag Level Penalty: Intentional Poor Sportsmanship (Believed To Be or Known To Be). Incidents of this caliber are Race-Ending and Reputation-Scarring. Immediate Action Will Be Taken! Retaliatory Behavior Outbursts In the Race Control Chat, During A Race Arguing With Race Control Pit Maneuver (Upgrade offense) Punting Another Driver Off-Track with disdain & disrespect. This level of penalty will bring an extensive discussion by the Race Steward regarding the offending driver. GT45 Gaming will stand behind the decision of the Race Steward. Repercussions may include: Race Suspension Forfeiture of Points Driver Probation Driver Suspension from GT45 Gaming Events Permanent Ban of Driver from GT45 Gaming Discord
