TT SIM RACING ORL
17. OLR - Flag Signals: A: Green Flag: Time to ‘Send It!’ The track is open & clear of dangers. B: Yellow Flag & Incidents: Someone ‘Sent It’ a little too hard. Drivers will be shown a Yellow Flag notification to warn of an incident further up the track. Drivers are prohibited from passing during a Yellow Flag condition. Drivers should be on the lookout for danger. Drivers don’t need to slow down, but you do need to be ready! C: Passed The Incident: You can now ‘Send It,’ again! As soon as a driver has passed the incident, the Yellow Flag notification should automatically become a Green Flag. o Unless there is another incident up ahead. D: Red Flag: Some fool ‘Sent It’ entirely too hard so Race Control has to stop the race. The ‘Host’ and/or ‘Race Control’ are the only personnel with the authority to call for a ‘Red Flag’. When a Red Flag is called you are required to get off the track immediately. o Wait for further instructions from the ‘Host’ and/or ‘Race Control’. Red Flag can only be called for the following reasons: o A driver gets stuck on the start grid. o A driver (somehow) gets to start the race before the rest of the field. o 3 or more cars take considerable damage on the 1st lap (w/’Heavy Damage’ model). o 4 or more cars take considerable damage on the 1st lap (w/’Light Damage’ model). o If there is a disconnection of multiple drivers (4 or more) at the same time from the race lobby. E: Blue Flag / Lap Traffic (Back-Markers): You’re not ‘Sending It’ as fast as others. Drivers that are about to get lapped will be shown a Blue Flag notification. Do not to interfere with the lapping cars. Stay on the racing line but slow down just enough to allow the lapping car an easy pass. Keep your racing line predictable and try to stay out of the way. If you are in ‘battle for position’ with another driver, continue your battle. o The lapping car will find a way around your battle. F: Blue Flag / Lapping Traffic (Leaders): Someone is not ‘Sending It’ as fast as you. It is your responsibility to make the pass cleanly & safely as possible. With your skill & experience you should know When, Where & How to make a clean pass, with little or loss of speed to you or them. Be Respectful! G: Checkered Flag: You can stop ‘Sending It’ now. Your race is over. o This doesn’t mean the race is over for the all drivers – Be Respectful! H: Black Flag: You need to stop ‘Sending It’, because your race is over! ‘Race Control’ has full discretion to ‘Black Flag’ on any driver. This call can be verbal or text via In-game lobby chat. The ‘Host’ may remove you from the lobby. Race Stewards & G.A.S. will a discussion about your future with the race series, any upcoming events & the ‘GT45 Gaming’ Discord server.
