27. OLR - Approach An Incident: A: When approaching an incident directly ahead of you, on track, you may be notified with a Yellow Flag. These are the things all drivers will need to be aware; • Assess the situation. • Gradually decrease speed. • Do not approach at full race pace. • Do not assume the incident is off-track. • Do not assume the incident is going to remain off-track. • Do not assume the cars are ghosted. o See ‘Ghost Cars’ for more information. • You bear some responsibility for your own safety. • See Section ‘Rules Governing Car Contacts’ for more information. • See Section ‘Track Re-Entry’ for more information. B: When in an active battle for position and a Yellow Flag situation arises, there is not passing allowed. The game will automatically assess a 3 second penalty to the violating driver. • Race Control and/or Race Stewards will NOT reverse this penalty.
